Oh my god the commentary over it is fucking awful Robin is retarded howard is an idiot More time than money. That's not hard to understand. Their commentary amounts to "HUH WHAT HUH UH" That's awful.
Where is this? London? These are thr drums Charlie played before he switched over to the maple finish Gretsch kit. He played a maple DW 5 x 14 snare towards the end. I still try to get my snare to sound like Charlie's. Very distinctive sound he had. Plus that famous tom tom sound that only Charlie knew how to get. All those unmistakeable fills on all those records.
Kitchener Ontario winter 2022 The Rolling Stones Unzipped Exhibit, everything from the actual guitars to the recording equipment to stage designs and wardrobe from the tours was there, thanks for the support
@@papapoodo6685 Could you help me pointing out his solo's and drumworthy fills please? It's nice you "defend" Watts off course, but that doesn't make him a Cobham, Gadd,. Phillips, Bonham or whoever. He sure was a nice person and a steady groovy drummer - but no virtuoso.
I can point out your horrible English skills instead? I never said he was a virtuoso. I said he was the heart and soul of a classic rock 'n' roll band that accomplished a million times more than you ever will. @novitamonitor
What Rolling Stones songs did Jimmy Miller play on? Among his contributions include the opening cowbell on "Honky Tonk Women", and the main drumming on tracks such as "You Can't Always Get What You Want", (where regular Stones drummer Charlie Watts was unable to play the correct "groove"), "Tumbling Dice" (where Watts was similarly troubled by the ending of the song), ...
@@carlupthegrove262 Jimmy Miller also played on Happy, I think the story was Charlie wasn't in town at the time Keith got the idea and recorded it with Bobby Keys

I searched for a drumsolo of Charlie, some impressive fills, something to find out if he could do more than just keeping time....... nothing..... ?...
Well thankful he has a million badass records that he played on for you to research! What have you done?.

“Yankees ain’t got too much sense no way.”
Actually Charlie did NOT record the album version of HONKY TONK WOMAN ….look it up
Or "Can't Always Get what You Want"
I think he did. It was producer Jimmy Miller playing cowbell. Jimmy did play You can't always get what you want.
